Your health is our top priority. Redwood Family Dermatology is dedicated to providing the safest possible environment for our patients, providers and staff. 

We are open to care for your health and wellness needs. Whether you are coming for a consultation, an in-office procedure, surgery or other medical appointment, Redwood Family Dermatology is carefully following all recommended precautions to protect your health, and the health of caregivers, companions and medical staff.

All three RFD locations are able to schedule in-office emergent and routine visits, medication management (including refills), consultations, minor surgical procedures, elective procedures, and more services. For those patients that require telehealth / virtual visits, Angela Wyble, PA-C, can be scheduled for remote appointments (see below). 

Infection prevention

Our locations are cleaned and disinfected rigorously, following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and County of Sonoma Department of Health Services infection prevention guidelines.

To further prevent possible infection,

  • Masking is optional, except we request that all individuals who have been exposed to COVID in the last 7 days and/or are recovering from cold/flu symptoms to please wear a facial covering (We will have them available, just let the front desk staff know)
  • Order of the Health Officer of the County of Sonoma No. RVP23-01: Order of the Health Officer requires Health Care Delivery Facility personnel to wear a Face Mask in Patient Care Areas of specified health care delivery locations, subject to medical and other specified exemptions. The order takes effect 12:01 a.m. on November 1, 2023 and shall remain in effect until April 30, 2024.
  • Sneeze or cough into a cloth or tissue, or if not available, into your elbow,
  • Not shake hands, and
  • Should not engage in any unnecessary physical contact.

Cleaning and sanitizing

Strict procedures are in place at our locations:

  • Equipment is always cleaned between patients.
  • Frequent touch areas are sanitized several times throughout the day.
  • Hand sanitizers are readily available.
  • All exam rooms are thoroughly disinfected and cleaned after each visit.

All persons entering RFD locations will be screened with the following questions:

  • In the last 5 days, have you been diagnosed with and/or had a positive COVID-19 lab test?
  • In the last 5 days, have you had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19?
  • Have you received your COVID-19 vaccine?
  • Has the patient received their COVID-19 booster dose if eligible?

Please note that if you arrive at any of our locations and have any of these symptoms/conditions, your appointment will likely have to be rescheduled.

We ask all persons to maintain six feet or more of personal space inside our waiting areas and workstations. 

Telehealth virtual visits

For patients who prefer a virtual visit and for appointments that do not require an in-office visit, telehealth appointments are available. Angela Wyble, PA-C is available to see patients via a telehealth appointment with secure passwords for consultations, medication refills and other simple visits. Visit our appointment request page and select the telehealth option to request a virtual visit.

We are proud to be able to continue to serve our communities in Sonoma and Mendocino counties. Our phone/texting hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. We will promptly respond to your messages during these working hours.
